Serves/Makes:2 1/2 cups
- 1 cup (225 ml) pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) finely diced green pepper
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) cider vinegar
- 1-1/2 tbsp (20 ml) cornstarch
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) soy sauce
- 1 sm. tomato diced finely
- Combine all except green pepper and tomato.
- Heat, stirring constantly until thickened and translucent.
- Add Tomato and Green Pepper.
- Serve over meat, vegetables or with wontons.
