Serves/Makes:1 pie
- Ingredients
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 6 cups (1425 ml) sliced apples
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml) cinnamon
- 1 cup (225 ml) flour
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter or margarine
- Preparation
- Mix the apples with the sugar and cinnamon.
- Pile in the pie shell.
- Mix flour, brown sugar and butter.
- Press this topping on top of the apples.
- Bake at 375 degrees (200 C.) for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Comments
- Try it with a slice of chedder cheese!
