- Sauce to accompany appetizers
Serves/Makes:1/2 cup sauce
- 2-1/2 tbs (35 ml) water
- 2 tbs (30 ml) fish sauce
- 2 tbs (30 ml) lime juice
- 2 tsp (10 ml) honey
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) Chinese chili sauce
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 1 tbs (15 ml) shredded fresh basil or mint
- 2 tbs (30 ml) shredded fresh ginger
- Mix all ingredients.
- Store in refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- Serve as dipping sauce at room temperature.
