- 3 Tbsp (45 ml) margarine
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) soy sauce
- 5 Tbsp (70 ml) honey
- 3 Tbsp (45 ml) ginger powder
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml). black pepper
- Preparation
- Wash chicken breasts and pat dry.
- Place in casserole or other baking dish (line the baking dish with aluminum foil for easy washing after meal!)
- Smear chicken with margarine. Splash on soy sauce. Drizzle honey evenly over chicken.
- Dust with ginger powder and black pepper.
- Cover chicken with lid, or with aluminum foil if no lid is available. This is important and helps keep the chicken moist.
- Bake at 400 degrees (200 C.) for one hour.
- Serve immediately.
- Comments
- I made this recipe up about a year ago to feed a picky husband. I serve
it with rice or cooked potatoes and carrots.
