Serves/Makes:1 9x13 inch pan
- Ingredients
- 2 cans peach pie filling
- 1 box dry yellow cake mix
- 1 cup (225 ml) coconut
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) crushed walnuts
- 8 oz (224 grm). (2 sticks) margarine)
- Preparation
- Butter 9 inch x 13 inch pan.
- Spread pie filling in bottom of pan.
- Sprinkle cake mix over all.
- Mix coconut and crushed walnuts, sprinkle over the top of pie filling and cake mix.
- Melt margarine and pour over all above.
- Swirl above into cake mixture, slightly.
- Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) until lightly browned, usually about 30 minutes.
- Comments
- You can substitute any fruit pie filling you like for a different
flavor.
