- 1 French loaf of bread
- 4 tomatos
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 2 tsp (10 ml) dried basil leaves
- 1 tsp (5 ml) salt
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) olive oil
- 2 cups (475 ml) grated mozarellla cheese
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) grated Parmesan cheese
- Preparation
- Slice the french loaf in half, lengthwise.
- Peel and seed the tomatos, then dice.
- Mix the tomatoes with the garlic and seasonings.
- Brush the bread with the oil.
- Cover with tomato mixture.
- Sprinkle with cheese and broil in the oven until cheeses melt.
