- Ingredients
- 1 cup (225 ml) Sugar
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) white vinegar
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) water
- 1/3 lb (.2 kg). bacon
- Corn starch and water
- Preparation
- Fry bacon in pan and drain.
- Add vinegar, water, and sugar to bacon.
- Bring to boil.
- Thicken with corn starch and water.
- Serve warm over fresh spinach with chopped onions.
