- Ingredients
- 2 cups (475 ml) raw peanuts in the shell
- 4 cups (950 ml) water
- 1-1/2 tsp (7 ml) salt
- Preparation
- Place peanuts in large saucepan.
- Add water and salt.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 25 minutes.
- When done the kernel should have swollen to fill the pod well.
- Drain.
- Serve hot in the shell or cold.
