Serves/Makes:1 9 inch pie

Ingredients

• 3 large eggs
• 2/3 cup (150 ml) buttermilk
• 2 cups (475 ml) sugar
• 1/2 cup (125 ml) melted butter
• 1 tbsp (15 ml) flour
• 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
• 1 9 inch pie crust

Preparation

• Beat eggs until smooth.
• Add buttermilk and mix well.
• Add sugar, flour, butter and vanilla.
• Mix to blend and pour into pie crust.
• Bake at 375 degrees (200 C.) for 1 hour or until a knife inserted in the center, comes out clean.
