Serves/Makes:1 9 inch pie
- 3 large eggs
- 2/3 cup (150 ml) buttermilk
- 2 cups (475 ml) sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) melted butter
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) flour
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
- 1 9 inch pie crust
- Beat eggs until smooth.
- Add buttermilk and mix well.
- Add sugar, flour, butter and vanilla.
- Mix to blend and pour into pie crust.
- Bake at 375 degrees (200 C.) for 1 hour or until a knife inserted in the center, comes out clean.
