- 3-3/4 cups (875 ml) sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) flour
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
- 6 eggs, well beaten
- 1 cup (225 ml) butter, melted
- 1 cup (225 ml) buttermilk
- Mix sugar, four and salt; add to eggs, butter, buttermilk and vanilla.
- (Beat very well)
- Bake in unbaked pie shell 1 hour at 350 degrees (175 C.) F.
- This is delicious. Hope it tastes like your Grandmother's.
