Serves/Makes:1 pie
- Ingredients
- 1 9 inch unbaked pie crust
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter or margarine, melted
- 1 cup (225 ml) dark corn syrup
- 1 cup (225 ml) white sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 cup (225 ml) rolled oats
- Preparation
- Beat the eggs.
- Stir in melted butter, syrup, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly.
- Stir in oats.
- Pour filling into crust.
- Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for 35 to 40 minutes.
