- spoons of cornbread fried in pan covered in cooking oil or melted shortening
- 1 part white cornmeal (med ground)
- 1/3 part self rising flour
- 1 egg
- Just mix and spoon into hot grease-keep turning-place on paper towels to absorb excess grease/if we are doing an oyster roast or clam bake, we add pork cracklings to the batter.
