- Ingredients
- 1 lb (.5 kg) shrimp (fresh)
- 1 cup (225 ml) white wine (I prefer a chardonnay or chablis)
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) white pepper
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) capers
- 1/4 small lemon, juice only
- small handful fresh chopped parsley
- cooked rice
- Preparation
- Clean shrimp, peel and devein.
- Combine all ingredients except rice in oven safe casserole dish.
- Place in preheated 350 degree (175 C.) oven bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Serve shrimp and juice over rice.
