Serves/Makes:6 doz
- Ingredients
- 2 cups (475 ml) sugar
- 1 cup (225 ml) margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1 c buttermilk
- 2 tsp (10 ml) vanilla
- 1-1/2 tsp (7 ml) baking soda
- 5-1/2 cups (1300 ml) flour
- Preparation
- Cream together sugar and margarine.
- Add eggs and mix till smooth.
- Slowly add buttermilk, mixing well.
- Add vanilla.
- Add baking soda and flour.
- Drop by tsp onto foil lined cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees (200 C.) F. for 12-13 minutes
- Comments
- This is a soft dough.
