Chicken Strips

Serves/Makes:8-10 servings

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs (1.4 kg) boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1/2 c lemon juice
  • 2 T soy sauce
  • 3/4tsp salt
  • 1 c flour
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) pepper
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) paprika
  • vegetable oil
Preparation
  • Cut chicken into 3 x 1 inch strips and place in a shallow dish.
  • Combine the lemon juice, soy sauce and salt; pour over chicken.
  • Cover and marinate at least 30 minutes.
  • Combine flour, pepper, salt and paprika.
  • Dredge chicken pieces in flour mixture, and fry in hot oil (375 degrees) until golden brown.
  • Drain on paper towel.
