Old Fashion Chicken and Dumplings Soup
- Drop Dumplings
- Chuck's cookbook or ???
- 1 cup (225 ml) flour
- 2 tsp (10 ml) baking powder
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) sugar
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
- chicken broth
- Sift all ingredients together.
- Slowly stir in about 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk or so.
- When batter is thin enough to take up by rounded spoonfuls with a wet tbsp; drop into boiling broth.
- Cook, covered for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Look at the corn dumpling recipe. I like them even better.
