- Green Beans with Almond and Garlic

- 1 stick butter
- 3 tbsp (45 ml). dry minced garlic
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) sliced almonds
- 2 cans french cut green beans; drained
- salt and pepper to taste
- In large skillet, saute garlic and almonds in butter until almonds begin to brown.
- Add green beans to skillet; stir.
- Add salt and pepper to taste (I like lots of pepper).
- Simmer for about five minutes, stirring a couple of times.
