- Ingredients
- 16 quarts (15125 ml) pot
- rack or metal colander to fit inside
- tight fitting lid
- weight to hold down lid(brick works well)
- 4 whole live lobster
- 1 cube butter, melted
- Preparation
- Place rack in pot.
- Add water to 2 inches.
- Bring to boil.
- Add lobster.
- Cover.
- Weight down cover to keep steam in.
- Set timer for 12 minutes or check for doneness by pulling off one of the little legs.
- Suck out the meat.
- If it is done, the lobster is done.
- Serve with melted butter.
