- plantain(s) as many as you want
- oil for frying
- Cut plantain on seams to peel.
- Cut one in lengths.
- Place in one inch of hot oil.
- Fry until tender.
- Remove from oil.
- With a glass flatten lengths.
- Return to oil and fry until golden.
