Serves/Makes:2 dozen
- Ingredients
- 1 cup (225 ml) sugar
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) cocoa
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) butter
- dash salt
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk
- 1-1/2 cups (350 ml) oatmeal
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) vanilla
- Preparation
- Combine sugar, cocoa, butter, salt and milk in saucepan.
- Bring to boil, stirring constantly, boil 1 minute.
- Stir in oatmeal and vanilla.
- Can add nuts or dates if desired.
- Drop from tsp on wax paper.
- Allow to cool completely.
