Serves/Makes:9' Double crust
- Ingredients
- 2 cups (475 ml) flour
- 1 tsp (5 ml). salt
- 2/3 cup (150 ml) lard
- 7 tbsp (100 ml). water
- Preparation
- Combine flour and salt.
- Cut in lard.
- Blend in water.
- Blend well and divide in two.
- Roll out on floured board.
- Bake as directed in pie filling recipe.
- Comments
- Lard makes the best pie crusts.
You should always grease your pie plate with lard also.
