- Ingredients
- 3 cups (700 ml) whole wheat or rye flour
- 3 cups (700 ml) uncooked oatmeal
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) wheat germ
- 6 tbsp (90 ml) margarine
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) molasses
- 1 cup (225 ml) evaporated milk
- 1 cup (225 ml) water
- Preparation
- Mix together first 3 ingredients.
- Thoroughly mix in remaining ingredients (dough will be stiff).
- Chill for a half hour.
- Roll rounded tspful into balls.
- Flatten and place on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 1 hour at 300 degrees (150 C.).
