- Oklahoma Cookin' 1976
- 2-1/2 cups (600 ml) sugar
- 2/3 cup (150 ml) white corn syrup
- 1 cup (225 ml) evaporated milk
- 3 cups (700 ml) raw Spanish peanuts
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
- 1 tsp (5 ml) butter
- red food coloring (optional)
- Mix sugar, syrup, milk and peanuts together.
- Cook over low heat for 1 hour.
- Add butter and vanilla and beat until creamy.
- Add red food coloring, if desired, while beating.
- Spoon out on wax paper to form patties.
