- 1 lb (.5 kg). box confectioners (powdered) sugar
- 1/2 lb (.2 kg). margarine
- 2-1/2 cups (600 ml) all purpose flour
- 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
- 7 T to 8 tbsp (125 ml) ice cold water
- 1 cup (225 ml) peeled pecans
- Mix melted margarine, flour, vanilla, and ice water until well blended.
- Wrap pecan halves with just enough dough to cover, roll in a cocoon shape.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Preheat oven at 350 degrees (175 C.) and bake for 35 minutes.
- When cool, roll in powdered sugar.
