- Fresh green beans (enough for however many people you're cooking for)
- 2 new potatoes per person
- bacon grease
- salt
- pepper
- Preparation
- Pull strings off beans.
- Cut out bad spots.
- Cover with water and bring to boil; turn heat down.
- Cover and cook 45 minutes or until desired doneness.
- Wash potatoes.
- Cook with bacon grease and salt and pepper.
- Cook till tender.
- Stir in green beans.
