- Ingredients
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 1 cup (225 ml) sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter, melted
- 1 cup (225 ml) white corn syrup
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 tbsps. bourbon
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1 cup (225 ml) pecans, coarsely chopped
- whipped cream, optional
- Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 C.).
- Mix all ingredients together and pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for 40 to 45 minutes.
- Serve with whipped cream if desired.
