- Boiled fruit pudding
- 6 large apples
- 6 eggs
- 6 oz (168 grm). finely crumbled bread
- 6 oz (168 grm). currants
- 6 oz (168 grm). sugar
- salt and nutmeg to taste
- Pare, core and finely chop apples.
- Beat eggs.
- Mix all ingredients.
- Boil 3 hours in a floured cloth tied very tight.
- Serve with wine flavored hard sauce.
