- Basic and simple Sugar Cookie Decoration Icing.
Serves/Makes:about 2 1/2 cups
- 4 cups (950 ml) powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) vegetable shortening or unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) corn syrup
- 6 tbsp (90 ml) to 8 tbsp (125 ml) milk
- Beat sugar, shortening, corn syrup and milk in medium bowl 2 minutes or until fluffy.
- Use as needed.
- Use food color to color and tint frosting as needed.
