- Basic and simple Sugar Cookie Decoration Icing.
Serves/Makes:about 1/2 cup
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) cream of tartar, (or substitute salt)
- 1 lb (.5 kg). confectioner's (powdered) sugar
- Beat the egg white cream of tartar (or salt) until foamy.
- Gradually beat in confectioner's sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Keep frosting covered with damp towel until ready to use.
