Ingredients
   1-1/8 lbs (.5 kg). cherries
 1/2 cup (125 ml) caster sugar
4 egg whites
  Preparation
  Simply paint the cherries with the egg white.
Dust with castar sugar and refrigerate for 4 days.
The egg white and sugar will become the caning solution and preserve the cherries for up to 3 weeks.
