Serves/Makes:10 or more
- 1 #3 can of chopped Kraut, undrained
- 1 cup (225 ml) white sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) chopped onion
- 1 cup (225 ml) chopped celery.
- 1 large bell pepper chopped.
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) pimento pepper(canned) or to taste
- Mix everything listed for salad.
- Chill overnight.
- Will keep several days.
- Given to me by a friend who served it in school teachers
lunch. I take it to family gatherings. There is never any left.
