- Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) green pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) onion, diced
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) butter, melted
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) parsley, chopped
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) prepared mustard
- 2 tsp (10 ml). Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp (5 ml). lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml). seafood seasoning
- 1 lb (.5 kg). lump crabmeat, well cleaned
- Pastry baking shells
- Buttered bread crumbs
- Paprika
- Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 C.).
- Saute green pepper and onions in butter until soft, but not brown.
- Add parsley, egg, mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and seafood seasoning, blending well.
- Fold in cleaned crab meat.
- Pile into baking shells.
- Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs and paprika.
- Bake until piping hot.
