- Ingredients
- 1 lb (.5 kg). large uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed or chopped
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) cooking sherry
- 1/4 tsp (1 ml) paprika
- a dash of cayenne pepper
- cooked pasta or rice, optional
- Preparation
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees (175 C.).
- Peel and devein shrimp; rinse well.
- In a medium saucepan melt butter and add garlic; simmer and stir for about 2 minutes.
- Add sherry, paprika and cayenne pepper; stir well and heat through.
- Put shrimp into baking dish, pour sauce over shrimp and bake in oven for about 15 minutes.
- Serve over cooked pasta or rice if you like.

- Quick and easy, can be made with pasta, and jar sauce or your own sauce, shrimp is served on the side in bowls with the butter sauce. I usually pour the leftover sauce on top of the pasta for a leftover. You can use 2 pounds of shrimp if you want to, but don't double the sauce. I hope you enjoy!
