- 1 lb (.5 kg). ground beef
- 1 large onion, cut into small squares
- a little salt
- a lot of black pepper
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (dont use no/low fat)
- 1 cup (225 ml) rice (not instant)
- 2 cups (475 ml) water
- 1 can cut green beans (optional)
- Brown ground beef, onions, salt, and pepper; drain fats.
- Add water, soup, rice, and green beans.
- Cover and simmer on low heat 30 minutes.
- Let cool for 10 minutes.
