- 1 egg white
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) water
- 1 lb (.5 kg). shelled nuts
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml) cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt (optional)
- Beat egg white and water until frothy.
- Add nuts and stir.
- In a bowl, mix sugar, cinnamon and salt (if using).
- Add egg white covered nuts and stir until coated.
- Spread in a single layer on baking sheet.
- Bake at 225 degrees (100 C.) for 1 hour--stirring every 15 minutes.
