- Ingredients
- 8 medium size potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 tsp (5 ml) salt
- 1 tsp (5 ml) pepper
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) onion finaly chopped
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) cubed ham
- milk
- Preparation
- Put potatoes, butter, salt, pepper, onions and ham into large saucepan.
- Add enough milk to pan so that there is about 1 inch over the top.
- Simmer on low heat for 1 hour. Do not cover as milk will foam up and boil over.
- Stir often to avoid sticking.
