- Ingredients
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) sugar
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) mayonnaise
- 1/8 tsp (1 ml) pepper
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) milk
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) buttermilk
- 1-1/2 tbsp (20 ml) white vinegar
- 2-1/2 tbsp (35 ml) lemon juice
- 1 medium head of cabbage, chopped fine
- 1 medium carrot, chopped fine
- Preparation
- Mix together the first 8 ingredients.
- Add to chopped cabbage and carrots.
- Refrigerate and chill for 2 hours.
- Comments
- You can use fat-free mayonnaise and skim milk to make a low-fat cole slaw.
