- Ingredients
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 package lemon jello
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) water
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) Wesson oil
- For glaze:
- 2 cups (475 ml) powdered sugar
- juice and rind from two lemons
- Preparation
- Add all cake ingredients together and beat for 2 minutes.
- Add Wesson oil and beat 2 more minutes.
- Bake in preheated 325 degree (175 C.) oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
- While cake is baking, mix the powdered sugar, juice and rind of the lemons. Mix well.
- When cake is done, prick it with a toothpick in rows about 1 inch apart and pour glaze over cake while hot.
