  • 1-1/2 lbs (.7 kg). ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 cup (225 ml) ketcup
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) mustard
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) vinegar
  • 3 tbsp (45 ml) sugar (more or less as you like it)
  • hamburger buns
  • Brown chuck, onion, and green pepper; drain.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Simmer for 1 hour, stirring often.
  • Serve on hamburger buns.
