A very moist cake

Serves/Makes:9x13 pan

  • 2 cups (475 ml) flour
  • 1 cup (225 ml) sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). baking soda
  • 1 dash salt
  • 3 bananas, mashed
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). vanilla
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sour cream
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) butter, softened
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 C.).
  • Add 2 eggs to mixing bowl and beat slightly.
  • Add bananas, vanilla , sour cream and butter. Mix well.
  • Add dry ingredients all at once. Mix.
  • Pour into greased 9 inch x 13 inch pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for 30 to 40 minutes.
This recipe can be cooked in a loaf pan, but you should increase cooking time to 1 hour.
