Strawberry Chiffon Pie

Serves/Makes:6 - 8

Ingredients
  • 1 Pkg. Jello (Strawberry flavor) ( 4 serving size )
  • 1 cup (225 ml) Boiling Water
  • 2 cups (475 ml) Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 cup (225 ml) Fresh Strawberries ( sweetened if desired )
  • 1 Graham Cracker Pie Crust
  • Whipping Cream to decorate
Preparation
  • Bake Pie Crust for 6 - 9 minutes per package directions.
  • Dissolve Jell-o Powder in Boiling Water.
  • Stir in Ice Cream until melted.
  • Chill until almost set.
  • Fold Strawberries into Jell-o mix.
  • Pour into prepared Pie Crust.
  • Chill until firm (about 6 hours ).
  • Garnish with Strawberries and Whipped Cream.
Comments
NOTE: any flavor Jell-o and fresh fruit may be substituted for Strawberry .
