Meatloaf with Bacon

  • 1-1/2 lbs (.7 kg). lean ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1-1/2 cups (350 ml) fine bread crumbs
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix (any type Lipton)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) catsup
  • 4 strips bacon
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Mix ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Shape into loaf.
  • Place in baking pan.
  • Top with catsup and bacon strips.
  • Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for about 45 minutes, until well browned.
