Ingredients
  • Sap (water) fom a maple tree approximately one (1) gal.
Preparation
  • Heat the sap in a copper or stainless steel pot.
  • Bring it to a simmer and reduce it to 1/2 pt. or to the desired thickness.
Comments
The sap is best in early spring in New England. Your Sugar Maple is the type to look for. Thats all you need to make REAL Maple Syrup! If you add anything else It would be a mutant.
