Grandma's Chocolate Cake - Hershey Bundt Cake

Ingredients
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 2 cups (475 ml) sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2-1/2 cups (600 ml) flour
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1 ml) baking soda
  • 4 Hershey bars
  • 1 cup (225 ml) Hershey chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup (225 ml) buttermilk
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
Preparation
  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs, one at a time.
  • Sift flour, salt, and soda three times.
  • Melt Hershey bars in chocolate syrup, and cool.
  • Add flour mixture, syrup, buttermilk, and vanilla, alternately to sugar mixture.
  • Bake at 300 deg. for 1 1/2 hours.
Comments
No need to ice as this cake is deliciously rich and moist.
