- 1/3 cup (80 ml) canned peaches, cut in chunks
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) canned apricots, cut in chunks
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) canned pineapple, cut in chunks
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) maraschino cherries, cut in wedges
- 1 cup (225 ml) sugar
- Preparation
- Use well drained and solid fruit.
- Combine all ingrediants in a large 8 cups (1900 ml) jar with a loose lid.
- Stir about once a week. Every 14 days, add 1 cup (225 ml) of sugar and 1 cup (225 ml). of drained canned fruit of your choice or 1/3 cup (80 ml) each of 3 different kinds of fruit.
- DO NOT ADD JUICE. DO NOT ADD FRESH FRUIT. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.
- Keep a card to record dates and types of fruit used.
- Do not allow contents to fall below 2 cups (475 ml) or fruit will spoil.
- Keep at room temperature in a open and light area.
