Grapenut Pudding

  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 5 cups (1175 ml) milk
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) Grapenuts cereal
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml) cinnamon
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla
  • dash nutmeg (optional)
  • dash salt
  • Combine all ingredients and beat for one minute.
  • Pour into baking dish.
  • Place baking dish in a larger pan.
  • Fill the larger pan with hot water to a depth of one inch.
  • Bake in a preheated 350 degree (175 C.) oven for one hour.
  • It is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
