  • 1 lb (.5 kg). sausage, browned
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups (475 ml) milk
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) picante sauce or salsa
  • 2 cups (475 ml) grated chedder cheese
  • 6 slices bread, cubed
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 C.).
  • Beat eggs and stir in milk, sausage, picante, and cheese.
  • Add cubes of bread.
  • Salt and pepper as desired.
  • Pour into greased (or use Pam) 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  • Bake approximately 1 hour or until egg is set.
