- Description:
- Different Squash from Butternut Squash
- Source:
- Clark in Palm Springs
Serves/Makes:4
- Ingredients
- 1 spaghetti squash
- butter
- salt and pepper, to taste
- Preparation
- Slice the Squash in half length-wise, remove any seeds, rub a little vegetable oil on the opened sides.
- Place face down on a cookie sheet.
- Bake in a 325 degree (175 C.) oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until tender to a fork.
- Remove from oven, hold half side of squash with one hand (I use an oven mitt) and use the fork to run through the open side of the squash. It strings out into your bowl like golden spaghetti strands.
- Discard skin or shell when all of the meat of the squash is removed.
- Add butter, salt and pepper to taste and serve warm as a side dish.
- Delicious and wonderful.
