Honey Ginger Grilled Salmon

  • 1 tsp (5 ml) ground ginger
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) garlic powder
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) orange juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1-1/2 lbs (.7 kg). salmon fillet
  • In large ziploc bag mix first 6 ingredients.
  • Put salmon in bag and seal. Turn to coat fish completly.
  • Refrigerate 15 minutes or 30 for stronger flavor. Turn bag every once in awhile.
  • Grease or spray rack.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat.
  • Remove fish from marinade and save.
  • Grill 12 - 15 minutes.
  • Brush with marinade last 5 minutes.
  • Discard remaining marinade.
