Sour Cream Cookies - Rolled Sour Cream Cookies

Recipe Information

  • 4 cups (950 ml) flour
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). soda
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). baking powder
  • 1 cup (225 ml) shortening
  • 1-3/4 cups (425 ml) sugar
  • 1/2 tsp (2 ml). salt
  • 1 cup (225 ml) thick sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp (5 ml). vanilla
  • Mix all ingredients together and chill dough.
  • Roll out (not too thin) and cut out shapes.
  • Bake at 350 degrees (175 C.) for 4 to 5 minutes.
